In his years teaching the art of Wing Chun, Sifu Charlie has developed an engaging teaching style to keep Kung Fu fun and interesting for students of all ages! He has successfully helped many children and adults towards earning their Black Belts in the art.
Fascinated with Chinese Martial Arts, philosophy and culture, Sifu Charlie started travelling to Hong Kong and mainland China. He had the opportunity to live in mainland China for two years and during his travels, he gained a deeper understanding of Chinese culture which influenced his teaching style and knowledge.
Sifu Charlie has had a few opportunities to train with (Grand Master) Sifu Sergio at Schools of Kung Fu / IWKA at their Asia HQ in Hong Kong.
Sifu Charlie is a keen advocate on health and wellbeing. Sifu Charlie is also trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muey Thai and tae kwon do to give him a greater understanding of other martial arts to broaden his horizon and a greater understanding to use Wing Chun Kung Fu to defend against them.
Sifu Charlie has also regularly contributed to his community. Participating in multiple charity events, including Running half-marathons as a Kung fu panda mascot, raising money for charity with sponsored board breaking events with Schools of Kung Fu, travelling to schools to host self-defence and conflict management classes for young adults, and has also helped Sifu Alan Paterson train students for the Aladdin pantomime, with Larry Lamb, in 2013.
Sifu Charlie Fox is a greatly valued member of Master Alan Paterson’s team and Sifu Sergio’s organisation.
